How does the LOF box scheme work?

Here's a quick explanation of how our box scheme works, if you need more information please give us a call

  1. Order either a Standard or Family Box to be delivered each week (or other frequency if you prefer).
  2. We deliver on a Thursday. If you're not in when we deliver, we'll discuss with you a suitable safe place to leave the box. Alternatively, we could arrange to deliver to a place of work.
  3. Each week when we deliver we'll collect your empty box.
  4. If you're going away and need to cancel your box for a week or two, please let us know by Monday noon of that week, at the latest.
  5. Look out for news of 'Extras'. Some veg and herbs are needed in smaller quantities or less frequently so these may appear in your box, but less often. However, if you happen to be, for example, a chilli, garlic or basil addict, and want extra, these can be ordered separately. Give us a call to place an order before 12 noon on Monday each week and we'll deliver along with your usual box. Look out for details of what's available in our newsletters, online or just give us a call.
  6. Payment can be either cash, cheque or online transfer, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. If you would prefer to transfer money electronically, please ask for details.
  7. Lastly, feedback is always welcome. The varieties we choose to grow next year may depend on the feedback we get.
